As your caster level increases you can regulate most of your lower level spells to some kind of snowball, and then dedicate every other spell you ever learn to some kind of buff or disable. And it also uses up almost every feat slot you can get. Very very good, unless against more than two targets. Two with quicken (using 5th level slots for the quickened ones). If you're fighting 1 target it's absolutely amazing, but against a group you can only damage and entangle one target with it. Rime requires you to hit it again every round as it's originally a 1st level spell, and uses up an extra feat. Possible using 2nd level spell slots at 15th level. Add in Rime and Elemental for a 7th level slot, and at 15th take Spell Perfection along with Spontaneous Metafocus at an earlier level so you can use it as a standard action, and lower the slot level by 3.ħ5 + basically10d3 damage (85-105 damage, 92 average.). With the sorcerer bloodline silver or white draconic (I chose gold so I don't get this.) it gains an extra 15 damage. With the two traits it's a +4 so uses a 5th level spell slot. With Intensified, Empower, and Maximize it does 60+(10d6 - 1/2) at level 10+. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting.
